Great article Fran and Thom! One note, not sure where non-travel matchday emissions from fans would be counted. Would food and merchandise sold to fans be covered in category 1 of Scope 3? The wording seems slightly ambiguous.
Thanks Oli, what non-travel matchday emission do you have in mind? Selling food and merchandise to fans doesn't really change the carbon footprint. The carbon is in the manufacture and distribution (covered in Cat 1) and then the lifecycle and disposal, covered in other categories!
